Well, after almost three months of sitting the idea on the shelf I'm finally ready to open up this site to other anonymous authors. As I mentioned in my last post (back on July 8), I want this site to serve the same purpose it has served for me: to offer a place of refuge "for those in ministry positions seeking an ear to share the raw, intimate struggles that they are facing as God is moving them into new place" and to do so without fear of what others who know them will think about what they share. It's an unfortunate fact that a great deal of people in 'ministry' have very few close friendships where they can have a level of intimacy enough to share the truth of what they are facing many times. I believe this site can fill part of this void (not to undermine the value of true community).

With that said, I want to open myinwardjourney.com up to people in such a situation to freely share their journeys. If you are interested, feel free to email me at mail@myinwardjourney.com. I will guard your identity and talk with you about setting up an anonymous ID you can blog from here. I am planning on also implementing an authors-only forums on the site where each of us can communicate/pray/encourage one another. The invitation is open ...
